This Jitter Glitter poem is adapted from the Jitter Juice ice breaker activity. I had my students write down what was making them nervous on the first day of school and then they put their “nerves” in the bucket and we recited this poem together. I then had them each sprinkle some glitter into the bucket and shake it up. Then, POOF! All of their fears and worries disappeared! My kids loved it! Great for the first day of school or any part of the school year when nerves are high!
